Take The Rate operates two separate SMS programs that you may opt in to using the unchecked consent checkboxes on our website forms. Consent is not a condition of purchase, and you may submit our forms without opting in to either program.
Message frequency varies. Transactional messages are sent as events occur during your loan (typically 1–10 per week while a loan is active). Marketing messages are sent no more than four (4) times per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of either program. Mobile information — including phone numbers and SMS consent — will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of personal information described in this Privacy Policy are subject to our standard sharing practices (see Section 4 above), but SMS opt-in data is excluded from any third-party sharing.
This commitment applies to all of Take The Rate's SMS programs and is required by mobile carriers and our SMS provider, Twilio. Information collected when you opt in to SMS may still be used by Take The Rate internally to deliver the messages you requested and to support your loan inquiry.
Our SMS programs are compatible with all major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost, MetroPCS, and Cricket. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, measure performance, and improve user experience. As required by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), we provide a separate privacy notice when you submit a full mortgage application. That notice describes the categories of nonpublic personal information we collect, how we use it, and your right to opt out of certain disclosures.
